Just a men's large t-shirt... but this one commemorates my 30th birthday, which I spent at CDC headquarters in Atlanta! Sentimental value...

A sweet light blue T peeks out from under my hoodie. This shirt makes me feel like a stylish hippie.

A button-down day. Today I dressed up for school a bit, since I attended a talk by the UN Director General of Food and Ag. I wore this collared shirt under a brown sweater.

I picked up this Indian cotton shirt a year ago at Herbergers. It has nice details--lacy border around the neck, slightly puffed sleeves, and it ties in the back, giving it shape.

This looks pink in the picture, but it's actually thin red and white stripes.

Yet another of the $4 thin cotton shirts...

Today I helped someone move. And it was the first (and last) time I'll wear this free shirt from the AVMA conference last summer. No, I did not go to the concert, but I heard it was good...?

Lookin' snappy at the end of the week.

Last shirt of this type, I promise. It's perfect under a sweater, and it looked good with a striped pink scarf today. As usual, I'm not doing it justice here, on my way to bed...

Button-down short-sleeve shirt from Diggers. It's a GAP shirt, kind of nice, a little big...

Stretchy shirt, crazy print! I always feel like I'm teeming with cells when I wear this. Technically, it's a maternity shirt, but I just like it because it's nice and long.

Valentine's Day present from seester!! Such a comfy shirt, and a great fit.

Photographed here, after finishing a bottle of wine.

American Apparel, thin shirt in a great color. Will and I picked it out in NYC in 2005, and I got it as a B day present.

This Threadless T is titled "T-shirt Plague." Will got me a bazillion Threadless shirts a couple of years ago. It's cute, but it might not be one of my favorites.

Sweet Henley. Unfortunately I wore it under a sweater--kind of a waste.

February 8

Looks drab on the hanger (pulled out of the hamper for a belated photo), but this little shirt looks great on!

February 7

Threadless again. U is for unicorn.

SHIRT BLOG FAIL!

Today I put on a black t-shirt I'd already worn this year in the AM, because I was going to get a massage and didn't want to get massage oil on another shirt. Post-massage I fell asleep, only to change into a cute silk dress for a party that night. So, no new shirt today. Oops.

February 5

Threadless shirt, titled 'Hope.' I got this just before moving to MN and declared it my official state fair shirt.

Hm. Old Navy 2 days in a row. This one is from 2 Black Fridays ago.

Nothing fancy. A black and blue striped thermal from Old Navy. Will and I seem to be developing a tradition of going to Old Navy on Black Friday--not crazy early or anything, but still... This was a shirt from that trip. Again, my mom has the same one (which I got her).

Another undershirt picked up for a dime or two at Diggers. I'd been thinking that this one should go, but I enjoyed the length and the color as I wore it today.

January Overview

So, at the end of the month, these are getting kept:

These ones are going to go:

And these are headed for shirt limbo--to be neatly folded and stored in the basement, their fate TBD:

Finally, here is the strange bird shirt, far more appreciated in its new home:

This design is great, right? I got this as the Downtown Crossing Macy's in Boston was going out of business. It was a couple of bucks. I still love the image, but it's ill-fitting (men's small), with a neck I cut out to enlarge myself. Plus, there is a big oily stain on the side that won't come out... Time to let this one go!

Green and stripey! This shirt is really worn... but I got it from my mommy... but the color is awfully bright... Eh?
